During heatwaves or periods of drought, prefectural orders may be issued to temporarily prohibit public access to forest areas. On the La Vélobuissonnière route, the greenways from La Suze-sur-Sarthe to Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, and from La Flèche to Brion are particularly affected.
